Image of West Yorkshire

West Yorkshire is a metropolitan and ceremonial county in England. It is an inland and, in relative terms, upland county having eastward-draining valleys while taking in the moors of the Pennines. The West Yorkshire Combined Authority comprises the West Yorkshire local authority areas of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield, plus the City of York. This area is the UK's largest economic area outside London with a population of over 2.3 million.
